Brief Description of Event: The Music Memory Cafe happens online weekly, Tuesdays, at 10:30 a.m. (NYC) on Zoom. It is informal and it's free! Everyone is invited to join...older, younger, retired, employed, memory groups, children, youth , and more.

Do you have a favorite song to share? Do you have artwork to show? Do you like to sing long or play an instrument or keep the beat along with the music? If you or a family member or group is interested in listening, singing along, or just watching this one hour of music, please join us! The musicians sing, take song requests, and enjoy making connections.

Virtual Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar

Brief Description of Event: Understanding the Journey of Dementia Care

Join Carrie Chiusano, Marcy Keibler and Kennedy Jason, experts in dementia care, Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, for an intensive and informative full-day virtual seminar.

Learn about the disease process, how to successfully care for someone living with dementia and their significance behind communication and education for all.

This education is required for those pursuing the Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) designation with the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). Attendees will earn 7 CEU credits for attending and receive a digital student notebook with all materials.

To become a CDP, send a certificate of attendance along with your completed application and fee to NCCDP. Attendees of this seminar qualify for a discounted application fee when they apply for their CDP.
