• Enjoy a baked good, coffee or tea.
• Participate in the planned activities or just sit and chat with others. It’s up to you.

It helps ensure you are delivering the most effective and compassionate care you can offer. Through hands-on workshops, we will share best care practices, tips, and techniques that are successfully used by dementia care professionals worldwide.

Classes are....
-Especially for primary caregivers who have a loved one at home who has memory loss or a dementia diagnosis.
-For anyone who provides support and care to someone with dementia including family, friends, neighbors, and other supportive individuals (not including home care agency staff).

Each Session...
-Builds on content from the previous session yet stands alone if you cannot attend a class
-Supplies the "How To" of specific techniques
-Provides technique support for the caregiver/s who practiced the techniques between sessions at home or in the community
-Provides additional resources from community partners
-Provides 1:1 support as needed

Brief Description of Event: Doylestown Health is pleased to invite you to our free monthly Memory Cafe, at the Doylestown Township Community Recreation Center's Patio. This event is open to older adults with memory loss and their care partners in our community. Each month features a new performance or educational event, while creating a safe space to socialize with those who share similar circumstances.

Program Components: The program activity changes from month to month, and the activity lasts a half hour followed by a half hour of socializing. Our activities could include musicians, artists, educators, and more!

Every Second Wednesday of the Month, Sept.-June, 11:00AM-12:00PM
