After you register, we will send you information and instructions.
Raji Malik is a self-taught guitarist/musician who has been playing and performing in the Philadelphia area for over 30 years, with influences ranging from Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) to David Gilmore (Pink Floyd) , to Indian Classical music traditions and finger styles of yesterday and today. Raji believes in the power of music to heal and bring centering and peace. He writes,“All of our actions ripple out into the world, and kindness has medicinal powers just like music. These sound waves are intended to reduce stress and create a sense of spaciousness in our interior world so that we may more easily recognize our interconnection.”
This program will combine performance and interactive elements where participants can share their thoughts and feelings about the music. Each musical piece has an invitation to engage in a physical, emotional, or spiritual healing visualization.
This will be a calming and heart opening musical experience.
ARTZ Notes invites you to come together with other participants to listen to music, make your own, and engage with each other and the performers. ARTZ Notes offers music and experiences as diverse as our participants. We are exploring different options including facilitating live performances paired with conversations, interactive improvisation and sing-alongs, and conversations and movement around pre-recorded music of all genres.
Admission is free with RSVP!
But we ask that you make your reservation(s) as early as possible. We keep our programs small and intimate in scale so that everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Reservations are first come, first served.
