Brief Description of Event: About the training:
This training will equip participants with the knowledge and understanding of how addiction occurs, the signs to look for, and how to care for the caregiver. Participants will learn stress-relieving practices that can be easily incorporated into their daily lives to promote well-being.

Brief Description of Event: Memory Cafe at the JCC
1st Monday of each month, 1-2:30pm at the JCC Squirrel Hill

A memory cafe provides a safe & welcoming space for individuals with dementia & their care partners to connect with others who have similar experiences. The cafe helps to foster new connections & reduce social isolation.

Each month will feature a different themed activity for participants to enjoy together. The memory cafe at the JCC is open to all community members who are experiencing cognitive decline & are seeking an accepting social setting.
