In 2015, several businesses in eastern Lancaster County saw the need for better care of their customers who had some degree of confusion and/or memory problems. The New Holland Business Association and Garden Spot Village worked together to achieve Dementia Friendly recognition. Our outreach now extends to the whole county by hosting a day of dementia care seminars, offering Dementia Friendly Introductory sessions, and providing customized training for businesses and organizations in Lancaster County.
