Welcome to Dementia Friendly Lancaster, where our mission to support, educate, and empower communities takes an exciting new step forward. We are thrilled to announce that new leadership is in place for Lancaster County to guide our ongoing efforts. Following exceptional guidance from former director Melody Karick, who carefully trained and prepared her successors, we proudly welcome new co-directors Jodi LeFever and Joseph Burchill. Together, they hope to lead their dedicated team of forty plus individuals in identifying the greatest local needs for dementia education while collaborating with numerous agencies throughout the county. Whether you represent an individual agency, a local business, or a family walking the journey of dementia, our team is readily available to provide tailored support and guidance. To kick off this new chapter, we invite you to join us for Neighbors and Knowledge, a special resource experience to be held in February 2027 at Garden Spot Village in conjunction with The ForgeWorks.
