Brief Description of Event: The Wright Center for Community Health, in partnership with Age-Friendly Lackawanna, is offering free, one-hour educational sessions to help individuals better understand dementia and learn practical ways to support loved ones living with the condition. Led by a specially trained Dementia Champion, these informative sessions provide clear, compassionate guidance and everyday strategies that can make a meaningful difference. Sessions are available both in person and virtually, making it easy for community members to participate and feel more confident in supporting those affected by dementia.

These sessions are designed to break down stigma, increase understanding, and empower you to help build dementia-friendly communities, with options to become a Dementia Friend or a volunteer Champion.
