Our choruses, along with the choruses in the national Giving Voice Network, are created for people living with Alzheimer’d Disease and their care partners as active participants.
That’s right, people living with dementia are the singers in our choruses. Our chorus members are defying dementia through music.
If you are living with dementia, we invite YOU and a friend or family member to sing with us.
Imagine a place where everyone’s voice matters and the dementia does not.
At Giving Voice, we focus on what people living with dementia CAN do. People with dementia CAN learn new music. People with dementia CAN make new friends. People with dementia CAN experience joy.
Wondering if singing in a Giving Voice chorus is right for you? Here’s a message from one of our chorus members to you!
If you are living with dementia, experience the health and social benefits of music by singing in a chorus created for you.
- Our Twin Cities based choruses are replacing the stigma of Alzheimer’s through singing in three-part harmony. Bringing together people living with dementia, care-partners, and volunteers to experience the JOY of music.
- Not in the Twin Cities? Find a chorus for people with dementia in the Giving Voice Network near you!
