    CARE Partner Connections Dementia Training Program: Techniques & Tips for Family Caregivers

    Brief Description of Event: Our CPC programs helps give you, the caregiver, the tools needed to help keep your loved one as independent as possible, as long as possible regardless of where they live. It helps ensure you are delivering the most effective and compassionate care you can offer. Through hands-on workshops, we will share best care practices, tips, and techniques that are successfully used by dementia care professionals worldwide.

    Classes are....
    -Especially for primary caregivers who have a loved one at home who has memory loss or a dementia diagnosis.
    -For anyone who provides support and care to someone with dementia including family, friends, neighbors, and other supportive individuals (not including home care agency staff).

    Each Session...
    -Builds on content from the previous session yet stands alone if you cannot attend a class
    -Supplies the "How To" of specific techniques
    -Provides technique support for the caregiver/s who practiced the techniques between sessions at home or in the community
    -Provides additional resources from community partners
    -Provides 1:1 support as needed

    Time: 2-3:30PM
    All sessions are FREE!
